Get me, I'm a stoodent
I started my language class on Tuesday, and I love it. It's just the right level for me, I understand everything being said but I also learn lots of new things all the time. I realise now there's a huge difference between being taught French, and just trying to struggle along and pick things up. I was getting absolutely fed up of speaking and listening to it, but now I'm interested again.

Anyway, today I had some homework. I'm also knitting some gloves. I told myself, 'do your homework and then you can do your knitting', and that's what I did. I'm so proud of myself. It's the first time I've done homework not at absolutely the last minute, in fact it's one of the few times I've managed to do homework at all.

oh man, I am really looking forward to my French class (which starts next Tuesday). How many hours do you have a week? I'll probably be away on Sunday because we are driving to the relative that takes care of the baby for a couple of days to pick the latter up again and Saturday is school, so not sure if I get time off but the week after should be ok!

I do six hours a week split over three lessons. We seem to be getting quite a bit of homework, to my horror, and I found out today that I have some huge gaps in my verb vocabulary!

I'm looking after the Brat all weekend, if he behaves himself I'm taking him to see a film on Sunday. I think a few of us will definitely be doing something one night next week, and hopefully next weekend too (or I'll go crazy!).
